Phil Stewart’s aggressive 43 and Lee Kerr’s 49 gave Scalby an excellent start at Ryedale, putting on 105 before the first wicket fell.
Adam Waugh added 37 as the leaders set a total of 224-9, Alex Ibbotson taking 3-59 and Michael Temple 3-33.
After the interval good knocks from Rob Featherstone, 30, Ian Smith, 66, and Alex Ibbotson, 33, kept Ryedale in with a chance but three wickets apiece from Peter Beard and Paul Hesp kept the hosts to 185-6.
Tristan Midgley, 50, and Jamie Rounthwaite, 33, took Settrington to tea on 161 at home against Staxton 2nds.
Mark Dove claimed 6-25 and Kyle Outhart 3-33, but that total proved beyond the visitors despite Liam Scott scoring 48 and Ryan Hargreaves 31 as Eddie Rounthwaite claimed 4-29 and Andy Taylor 3-13 as Staxton were all out for 107.
Harvest looks like proving a difficult time for Grindale, Fylingdales taking advantage of a weakened team, scoring 163-8 thanks to decent knocks from Phil Stentiford 43, Duncan Steele 33 and Mark Estill 26. Jamie Watson kept the rate down claiming 4-30.
The hosts were put to the sword by Mark Estill, who claimed 5-48 to be all out for 91.
Andy Hill smashed 11 fours and one six during his 77 for Lockton against Forge Valley 2nds at the East Ayton ground.
Mike Brown chipped in with 31, taking the visitors to 207-7, but the hosts collapsed from an encouraging 147-3 to 177 all out despite Andy Toal’s 54, which included nine fours, Phil Holden, 42 ,and Shaun Topham, 32.
Brown picked up 3-62 and Les Welburn a late burst of 3-3 from 2.3 overs.
