Amy earns win at Friars Hill

Following a very wet summer that has seen many showjumping competitions cancelled, Friars Hill Stables enjoyed a good turnout for their yard and open showjumping competition on Sunday.

The 45cm class was won by Amy Frank from Sawdon on Conny.

The pair have not been together for long but are already building a strong partnership.

The ponies at Friars Hill also proved that they were more than capable of holding their own at the competition with them dominating the placings in the 55cm class which was won by Anna Donkin and Dottie whilst Isabelle Baldwin won the 65cm class on riding school pony, Jimmy.

Jody Salton and Dougal dominated the following classes claiming victory in both the 75cm and 85cm.

The stables start their winter dressage series on October 7.
