Yorkshire Coast Titans are celebrating a fantastic end to the season as they have won the Yorkshire Junior League division five championship.
The Titans under-13s won the title by beating Shawcross at homein a title decider.
The Scarborough team saw a massive turnout of supporters from both sides which created an excellent atmosphere.
Josh Pickering scored two fantastic tries in the first few minutes which took the visitors Shawcross by surprise.
Syed Sadid then scored another brilliant try which was converted by Sam Collin, which then took the score to 14-0.
Shawcross then came back breaking through the home defence line unable to convert the try.
Titans attacked again breaking through Shawcross’ defence and scored which made the half-time score 18-4.
In the second half, both teams came out strong which saw Shawcross breaking through the Titans defence three times scoring tries to set up a cracking finale.
The game was getting closer, with both sides going for the crucial victory.
Titans came back and went over the line, now the home side’s defence had to be strong and fight hard to try and not let Shawcross break through.
Titans scored again through the prolific Pickering and then shortly afterwards Syed went over the tryline with Kyle Baldwin kicking the goals.
Shawcross went over the line late on but Titans fought hard to keep them out to win 34-32.
Titans coach Mark Burton said: “Every player was given man of the match as they all played fantastic.
“I am so proud of all the boys for winning the title, they all put so much hard work and effort in over the season and they are all champions.
“Well done lads and thanks to all the supporters.”
