Scarborough RUFC's youth development officer Tom Chadwick is to leave the club next month.

Chadwick is heading for Premier League outfit Hull City Tigers FC and leaves his role at Silver Royd at the end of July.

Chadwick said: "July 22 will mark my last day at the club as I join the commercial team at Hull City Tigers.

"For two years I've poured my heart and soul into the role & I've loved every minute.

"I'll miss this beautiful town and all its wonderful people, but the time has come for me to move out of my comfort zone and on to new horizons."

SRUFC director of rugby Mike Holder added: "I would like to thank Tom for all his efforts in the continuing process of development at Scarborough RUFC.

"Tom has worked tirelessly to implement all the new planned activities and has made a success of his time at the club.

"I, and everyone at the club, would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future."

The club's attentions now turn to to replacing Chadwick, and Holder is keen to hear from anyone interested in the role.

He added: "Once again we are looking for a player of quality who can lead and develop the younger section.

"They must have excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills."
