Sporting stars young and old lined up to collect the silverware at tonight's Scarborough Campus-sponsored Scarborough & District Sports Council Awards 2015 ceremony at the Spa.
A superb night celebrating the sporting talent in the Borough of Scarborough kicked off with a dance display by Hattons School of Performing Arts.
Cllr Tom Fox, Mayor of the Borough of Scarborough, and Mayoress Ros Fox then joined Sports Council Chairman Chris Rhodes on stage to present the award throughout the night.
The top female achiever award was shared by athlete Bronwen Owen and footballer Beth Mead, with Whitby's Adam Lyth scooping the top male achiever award.
The latter also earned the Mavis Clayton Memorial Trophy for Outstanding Achievement, which is awarded to the overall top performer of 2015.
From primary sports girl under-11 winner Daisy Stokoe to former Scarborough Beckett Cricket League secretary John Crossland claiming the North Yorkshire Service to Sport Award, cricket enjoyed a bumper night.
Whitby CC stalwart Duncan Lawrence bagged the sports volunteer of the year award and Whitby-based coach Mike Stones took the Coach of the Year honour.
Maddalena Mastrolonardo (under-16s girls winner), Emma Clapton (under-18s girls winner) and Bronwen Owen also flew the flag for athletics.
Scarborough Gymnastics Academy also scooped a hat-trick, gymnast and diver Jacob Bland winning the under-11 boys trophy, while the Academy's primary mixed team won the under-11s team honour and the senior women's team snapped up the top playing team plaudits.
