The following people have been dealt with at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court (addresses Scarborough unless stated):

James Brown Fitzpatrick, 52, of Westbourne Grove: community order made, including eight-week curfew plus £40 compensation and £170 costs, for theft of meat from Iceland supermarket and thefts of meat from Heron Foods.

Anthony Howard, 41, of North Marine Road: jailed for 16 weeks suspended for 18 months, including eight-week curfew, rehabilitation activity requirement and restraining order made, plus £200 costs, for assault.

David Broomhead, 41, of no fixed abode: jailed for six months, plus £115 costs, for unlawfully carrying a hunting knife in a public place, assaulting a community support officer and possessing cannabis.

David Michael Fallows, 25, of St Sepulchre Street: fined £280 plus £115 for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour.

Tony Flynn, 43, of Dale Garth: fined £120 plus £105 costs for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour.

Benjamin Jay Freer, 20, of Wreyfield Drive: fined £235 plus £115 for possessing cannabis.

Lewis Alan William Jasper, 24, of Eastborough: community order made, including eight-week curfew and rehabilitation activity requirement, plus £85 costs and banned from driving for 11 months, for driving while disqualified, driving without valid insurance and driving without a valid MoT certificate.

Nathan James Orange, 21, of Grange Avenue, Filey: community order made, including rehabilitation activity requirement and carry out 80 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £165 costs, for stealing £100 cash.

Joshua Junior Brady, 23, of Regent Street: community order made, including 300 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £170 costs, for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and breaching a community order, imposed for burglary, resisting a police officer, and possessing valium, a class C controlled drug.

Stephanie Anne Johnson, 23, of Blueberry Way: community order made, including 300 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £170 costs, for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and breaching a community order, imposed for two assaults on police officers and resisting a police officer.

Victoria Leigh Birks, 21, of Kealia Court, Wooler Street: jailed for four weeks for failing to comply with unpaid work requirements of community order, imposed for resisting a police officer, obstructing a police officer and failing to surrender to custody.

Nathan Mark Drummond, 28, of Main Street, Cayton: community order made, including rehabilitation activity requirement, and £85 costs for attempted theft of wine from One Stop shop, and breaching a community order imposed for theft of lager.

Charles Frederick Rushton, 56, of Dean Road: jailed for 15 weeks suspended for 18 months, including rehabilitation activity requirement and 100 hours’ unpaid work over 12 months, plus £115 costs, for two charges of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, failing to surrender to custody and breaching a community order imposed for criminal damage.

Marcus Glenville Swoboda, 66, of Victoria Road: fined £250 plus £115 costs and banned from driving for 20 months for two charges of drug-driving.
